Interior Design
Its interior is somehow similar to the gasoline F-150. It has a seating capacity of six tops, and each seat is well-padded and supportive. The high-quality features and materials will also have your attention. The cabin is also designed to prevent outside noise while cruising. The Ford recliner seats are available in the feature lineup, enhancing comfort, especially when you want to take a nap. Behind the rear seats, you will get an in-bed that features elements like stowable loading ramps and tie-down cleats that are adjustable and can also be used as bottle openers. Other interior amenities include a locking glove box, adjustable front seats, interior lighting, and a cloth headliner.
Performance
The 2022 F-150 Lighting comes with two electric motors, one located at the front axle and the other at the rear, which results in all-wheel-drive mode. The motors can be paired either with the standard battery pack or with an extended battery pack. The combination contributes to a total horsepower of more than 400. The transmission in the segment is a single-speed automatic.
With the extended battery, you will get a maximum driving range of 300 miles, while with the standard battery pack, the driving range is up to 230 miles. You can charge it using your household charger or a DC fast charger when the battery depletes, which you will find at any charging station nearby.
From the horsepower it produces, the new Ford F-150 Lightning is indeed a well-performing truck. It has great accelerating power, and you can tell if you take a test drive on the freeways. Even in rugged places, it is no stranger since it has some off-road capabilities like the massive tires and raised shock absorbers, which contribute to its adequate ground clearance.
